MVX
RNA MVX aggregates memory across physical servers into a shared, distributed memory service – a private memory cloud. This memory can then be used by applications to extend server memory and speed up storage. With memory virtualization, applications become less dependent on data center infrastructure to achieve requirements for speed and throughput. IT application managers can dial-up the appropriate server memory capacity and storage performance needed for the application. MVX is a software solution and, like other forms of virtualization, is totally transparent to applications. Applications can use the memory cloud resources to extend server memory, accelerate storage, or provide ultra high-speed storage in the compute tier, all without any code changes or application modification.
